I hear ya. The kitty's fur blends with the background of the sofa. Maybe a different color throw over the top part of the sofa. Her fans need maximum kitty visibility.

I could try to put the camera closer to the cat, but sometimes she sits on the white fluffy stool, so trying to keep all surfaces in frame, you see.
